About Kristina

Who am I?

My name is Kristina.  I’m Linda’s daughter and partner in creating this site.  I am passionate about food and how it can be used to nourish and sustain us, as well as heal our bodies from the harmful effects of the society we live in.  I love reading and learning about this fascinating subject and I am thrilled to share it all with you!

What have I done?

My own personal journey with health began when I was a teenager, desperate to clear the acne that had taken over my face.  I started an anti-inflammatory diet, which led to further investigations and experiments with different ways of eating.

Through the past 4 or 5 years I have:

  • added probiotic foods, coconut products, and bone broths to my diet.
  • I’ve completely eliminated all processed foods so that everything I eat is made from scratch.
  • I’ve tried the anti-candida diet, a raw food diet, and eliminating certain foods that I suspected where causing negative reactions.
Not all of my experiments were successful.  Some were disastrous (I learned that a raw food diet is definitely not for me!!!).   Yet I can’t deny that many of the changes in my diet were beneficial, greatly contributing to the quality of my health.

Though I have come so far, I’m still in the process of learning and figuring out what works best for my particular body.  It has been a challenge, even for someone like me who could talk all day about health and diet.

What can I do for you?

My goal in creating this site is to make your own journey a little easier and less overwhelming.  I strive to accomplish that by sharing what I already know from past research and experience, as well giving you the new information I gain from my currents studies and experiments.

My hope is that you will follow me in the quest for nourishment and health.  The journey may seem long but it’s worth it.
